March 5, 2014, 6:09 PM Day 3 I began the laying of the floor. I wanted to lay them in a staggered pattern to look more like a real wooden floor. Jessica bought me a different brand of popsicle sticks, and they were more consistent. I started using them after the third row (from the left) because even the nicer sticks from the previous batch were not as even. The new sticks have more varied colors, but the difference won't be as visible once I stain the floor. I also like the new sticks better because they are easier to cut. I wished to do more on this day, but my glue gun died.
